This is the eighth year for the water rapids race which saw racers hurtling down the rapids on the Vuokso River. "Baba" is Russian for "peasant woman," but it also has a sexual connotation.
The winner was a St. Petersburg man who rode his doll, dubbed "Vanilla Pelotki," to the finish in two minutes and 47 seconds.
