YouTube Blocked By Turkey

Turkey has once again blocked access to YouTube just days after ending a two-and-a-half-year ban.

The first ban was for videos insulting to the nation's founder. Now it is for sex videos of the leader of the republic's main opposition party.

YouTube in sights of a gun.

Media freedom activists have indicated that Turkey has blocked as many as 5,000 websites since new laws governing Internet usage were adopted in 2007.
